St. Louis, Iron Mountain and Southern #635

Number 635 was built by Baldwin Locomotive works at a cost of approximately $9,500.  This 4-6-0 coal burning steam locomotive has 61 inch drivers and weights 147,300 pounds.  It was used in both freight and passenger service and was eventually renumbered 2707 when St. Louis, Iron Mountain & Southern merged with the Missouri Pacific Railroad. Donated by the Missouri Pacific in 1947.
