The St. Louis Chapter

of the

National Railway Historical Society

The National Railway Historical Society (NRHS) is a nation-wide, non-profit group dedicated to the preservation of our country's rich railroad heritage through its local chapters. The St. Louis Chapter represents the St. Louis region and has had the honor of hosting two of the Society's recent Annual Conventions, 1990 and 2001. The Chapter meets monthly for a business meeting followed by an historical railroad presentation and also publishes a monthly newsletter for its members. We also own a piece of history - former California Zephyr coach Silver Larch which we have restored and use for excursion trips and is available for charter work.

Explore the links below to learn more about St. Louis Chapter activities. Better yet, join us at one of our meetings or on one of our excursions - new members and guests are always welcome!
